Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program:
The Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program is a global initiative providing full scholarships to African students who wish to continue their studies after high school (undergraduate) or those that wants to go for master’s programs across the African continent.
The program covers tuition, accommodation, books and other related expenses. It aims to develop a network of future leaders who will contribute to Africa’s economic and social transformation.

Eligibility for the Master card Scholarship for Africans 2023
- Applicants must be from Africa and should come from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. Applicants must have good academic performance.
- Applicants must be willing to return to and help their home country after the study period.
- Applicants should be able to present letter from one of the universities participating in the Mastercard Scholarship MCFSP.
- For an undergraduate (bachelor’s) degree, candidates must be 29 years old or below at the time they apply. For a graduate (master’s) degree, candidates must be 35 years old or under at the time they apply.
How To Apply for Master card Scholarship 2023
- Thoroughly research the program website of your chosen university for specific details on eligibility criteria, requirements, deadlines, and other application instructions.
- Select the organization and program to which you want to apply. While there’s no limit to the number of schools you can apply to, it’s important to note that it takes a lot of effort to complete the application.
- Prepare the necessary documents and information to submit. Each organization requires different types of documents as part of the application process. Failure to submit documents on time will result in an incomplete application. If possible, take the required tests a few months before starting your application. Applicants must first meet the university’s admission requirements before they can be considered for the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program. For some partners, tests like the SAT and/or TOEFL or IELTS are part of the Ask for citation or testimonial. Most universities require letters of recommendation. Before applying, ask someone who knows you well, such as your teacher, mentor or community leader, to help you with this step.

The Aga Khan Foundation Scholarship is a highly reputable award available in African and other developing countries to support students pursuing postgraduate studies. The scholarship aim to support students with limited financial resources and a very good academic achievements. It covers tuition fees and other fees including living and care. This scholarship program was established by his Highness Aga Khan .Applicants must be a residing citizen in of one of the aforementioned countries below

- The program gives preference to master’s courses but also considers applications for doctoral studies. Local/regional universities and distance learning programs are funded by PSI if the quality of the courses is maintained.
Tony Elumelu Foundation Entrepreneurship Programme:

- Must be 18 years or older.
- The applicant must be an enterprise with an idea or a newly established business but not older than 5 years of operation.
- The application is available in all the 54 countries in Africa with business that has been in existence for not more than 5 years.

Jim Ovia Foundation Leaders Scholarship:
The Jim Ovia Foundation Leadership Scholarship is dedicated to supporting talented and motivated African students to pursue undergraduate or graduate studies.
The scholarship covers tuition fees, accommodation, and a stipend for books and other educational expenses.Application for the Jim Ovia Scholarship for 2023 is currently underway for all interested and eligible students to apply through the Jim Ovia Scholarship Application Portal online.
All you need to successfully apply for the above scholarship includes:

Schlumberger Foundation scholarship for Women
Schlumberger Foundation scholarship is for Women from Developing countries to pursue post graduate studies in science technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) disciplines at well known institutions around the world.
Eligibility criteria | Schlumberger Foundation for Future Scholarship 2023/2024
You are eligible to apply If;
- You are female and a resident of a developing nation you’re from places where women are underrepresented in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM).
- If you have two citizenships, one of which is that of a developed nation, you are ineligible to apply.
- you’re prepared for a PhD or post-doctoral research in a STEM field (Note: If you have been awarded a Faculty for the Future grant and after the award you receive citizenship of a developed country, the grant will be revoked as of the date of such extra citizenship).
