MCDONALD FELLOWSHIP 2024 FOR YOUNG RESEARCHERS FROM LOW- AND MIDDLE-INCOME COUNTRIES |NOW OPEN FOR APPLICATION|

Applications have been made open for the MCDONALD FELLOWSHIP 2024 FOR YOUNG RESEARCHERS. The McDonald Fellowship encourages early career multiple sclerosis researchers from low- and middle-income countries to operate in a research institution outside of their own country. During the stay, participants either gain expertise or carry out roles of joint research projects.

Application Deadline is on the 30th of June 2024.

Following the award, we hope applicants will be able to utilize the recently acquired expertise and networks, continuing to take part in MS research and/or patient care in low- and middle-income countries.

The fellowship consists of a two-year grant, around £30,000 GBP each year, to cover travel and living expenses, and an extra contribution of £2,000 GBP every year to the host establishment. We expect that part of the second-year grant to the host institution will be used to cover the candidate’s expenses to attend the annual congress of ECTRIMS, the European Committee for Treatment and Research in MS.
